Description

Acquired in December 2008, Kirkwood House is a joint venture with AIMCO, one of the nation's largest owners and operators of apartment housing. AHC Greater Baltimore is the general partner for this project. Located in northeast Baltimore City, Kirkwood House is a project-based, Section 8 apartment building primarily for seniors. Once purchased, the building was extensively renovated with kitchen and bath upgrades; AC and heating system replacements; refurbished common areas; fire alarm and sprinkler system upgrades; and improvement to barrier-free apartments for residents with disabilities.
