Description

Acquired in December 2008, Kirkwood House is a joint venture with AIMCO, one of the nation's largest owners and operators of apartment housing. Greater Baltimore AHC is the general partner for this project. Located in northeast Baltimore City, Kirkwood House is a project-based, section 8 apartment building primarily for seniors. Currently the building is under-going a makeover. Renovations include kitchens and baths upgrades; AC and heating system replacements; refurbished common areas; fire alarm and sprinkler system upgrades; and improvement to barrier-free apartments for residents with disabilities.
