AHC has been providing one-on-one tutoring for at-risk teens in Arlington for more than 15 years. You can help.
Our program is built on personal relationships. Tutors are paired with a middle or high school student for the full academic year and become role models and mentors -- as well as teachers. Volunteer stories.
The program is working. Youngsters are improving their grades, staying in school, and going to college. Many are the first in their family to achieve this milestone.

We have six tutoring locations in Arlington. Two sites are near Metro. Programs run in the evenings, weekly.
This year, we need more tutors than ever because we're expanding the nights tutoring is available for the teens. That means more help for the teens and more options for volunteers.
