AHC's Project Discovery Program for Teens
Project Discovery is a Virginia state program designed to help at-risk teens graduate high school and go to college. Project Discovery teams up with local organizations, such as the Arlington based AHC Inc., to carry out their mission. AHC is an affordable housing developer that offers educational programs where students and their families live. The partnership between Project Discovery and AHC Inc., optimizes cost effective collaboration between local and state organizations. The secret to the programs' success is the one-on-one focus on the student outside of school through teen tutoring, college visits and leadership programs. Many thanks to Arlington Independent Media for their support in the making of this PSA.
