Grants for physically challenged homeowners: AHC also offers programs to help physcially challenged homeowners improve the accessibility of their home through the "Barrier Free" Grant program.

Emergency grants: Emergency grants are also available for low-income homeowners who have urgent needs, such as leaking roofs or heating/air conditioning problems.
