AHC Residents Receive Free Chromebooks at The Hamptons In Maryland

AHC residents from The Hamptons in Maryland received free Chromebooks courtesy of Montgomery Connects and Harbor Group Management. Montgomery Connects is a Montgomery County program that provides computers for low-income residents. Over 275 signed up for one of the three sessions to obtain their free laptop.

Representatives from Comcast were also present at the event to help sign eligible families up for free Wi-Fi for their homes. The exciting event also allowed families the opportunity to obtain a free COVID vaccine shot or test. Furthermore, The Upcounty Hub also distributed hygiene bags out front of the community.

Due to the success of this computer distribution event, Montgomery County Connects plans to expand the giveaway to surrounding AHC communities in the forthcoming weeks.
