COMMUNITY PARTNERS
AHC Has a Long-Established, Successful History of Community Partnership with 40+ Local Organizations
The enduring support of our community partners is key to the stability of the families living in AHC's apartment communities. These partnerships offer a host of programs for families, adults, and senior citizens that help build skills, fill needs, and expand horizons.
Our partnerships
These vital organizations are perfectly positioned to meet the specific social or economic needs of our residents. Whether it is healthy food for after-school snacks, cultural outings for senior citizens, or weekly reading programs with volunteers, AHC’s partners help round out the structured activities that Resident Services provides residents of every age.
Some of these organizations have been partners for decades, including The Reading Connection, Arlington’s Community Outreach Program, REEP (which teaches English as a second language), Arlington Parks and Recreation, Extension Services, Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC), and the Capital Area Food Bank.
